SWAP (Sector-based Work Academy Programme)
A short, sector-focused programme combining training, work experience and a guaranteed interview. Usually arranged through the Jobcentre.
Skills Bootcamps
Free, flexible courses lasting up to 16 weeks, with an interview on completion. Useful when you know the sector you want but need the skills first.
Jobcentre and DWP support
Work coaches can unlock travel costs, clothing for interviews, training referrals and benefit advice. If you are already claiming, this runs alongside your mapping record.
Local authority services
Royal Borough of Greenwich runs careers, youth and adult learning services. We point you to the right one rather than leaving you to guess.
